Summary: | To provide a crank case which makes a shape and a cut processing portion of each component proper to facilitate manufacturing, and to provide a cap member and a manufacturing method of the crank case.SOLUTION: A crank case includes: a crank chamber 2 in which a crank shaft 1 is disposed; bearing caps 32, each of which is fixed to a bearing lower part 31 in the crank chamber 2 and forms a bearing metal attachment part 3 and in which the crank shaft 1 is inserted; double-end cap upper parts 42, each of which is fixed to a double-end cap lower part 41 in the crank chamber 2 and forms a double-end cap 4 and in which one end side of the crank shaft 1 is inserted; and seal members 5, each of which is attached to an end surface of the double-end cap 4. End surfaces of the double-end cap upper part 42 and the double-end cap lower part 41 are cut surfaces and located on the same plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
