To provide a reclining device which allows wedges to be smoothly operated.SOLUTION: A reclining device includes an internal tooth member, an external tooth member, a pair of wedges, an energization member for energizing the pair of wedges, and a striker 60 for moving the pair of wedges. The pair of wedges each have a wedge body part, a first end, a second end, and a projection projecting in a first central axial line from an end face facing a direction along the first central axial line. The striker 60 has a pair of first pressing parts 63 for pushing the projection, and the first pressing parts 63 each have a pressing portion 64 having a pressing surface 64a for pushing the projection, and a movement suppression portion 65. The movement suppression portion 65 is provided on an opposite side to the pressing surface 64a in the pressing portion 64, and suppresses movement of the wedges in a direction along the first central axial line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】ウェッジが円滑に動作するリクライニング装置を提供する。【解決手段】リクライニング装置は、内歯部材と、外歯部材と、一対のウェッジと、一対のウェッジを付勢する付勢部材と、一対のウェッジを移動させるストライカ６０とを備える。一対のウェッジそれぞれは、ウェッジ本体部と、第１端部と、第２端部と、第１中心軸線に沿う方向に向く端面から第１中心軸線に沿うように突出する凸部とを有する。ストライカ６０は、凸部を押す一対の第１押圧部６３を有し、第１押圧部６３それぞれは、凸部を押す押圧面６４ａを有する押圧部位６４と、移動抑制部位６５とを有する。移動抑制部位６５は、押圧部位６４において押圧面６４ａの反対側に設けられて第１中心軸線に沿う方向におけるウェッジの移動を抑制する。【選択図】図８
