Summary:To secure responsiveness at the injection of a large quantity of fuel, and to improve the accuracy of the injection of a small quantity of the fuel.SOLUTION: In a fuel injection control device 127 for controlling a fuel injection valve 105 which can change a stroke amount of a valve body 303 for valve-opening an injection hole which injects fuel, the fuel injection valve comprises a control part 202 which can stroke and move the valve body by a first stroke at which a maximum stroke amount reaches a first amount, and a second stroke at which the maximum stroke amount reaches a second amount which is larger than the first amount, when stroke-moving the valve body by the first stroke, supplies a current smaller than a first peak current to the fuel injection valve while maintaining it for a prescribed period of time before supplying the first peak current for stroke-moving the valve body up to the first amount, and when stroke-moving the valve body by the second stroke, supplies a current which is increased toward a second peak current for stroke-moving the valve body up to the second amount to the fuel injection valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 【課題】多量の燃料を噴射する際の応答性を確保すると共に、少量の燃料の噴射量精度を向上させるようにする。【解決手段】燃料を噴射する噴孔を開弁する弁体303のストローク量を変更可能な燃料噴射弁105を制御する燃料噴射制御装置127であって、燃料噴射弁は、最大ストローク量が第1量となる第1ストロークと、最大ストローク量が第1量よりも大きい第2量となる第2ストロークとで弁体をストローク移動可能であり、第1ストロークで弁体をストローク移動させる場合、第1量まで弁体をストローク移動させる第1ピーク電流を供給する前に第1ピーク電流よりも小さい電流を所定時間維持して燃料噴射弁に供給し、第2ストロークで弁体をストローク移動させる場合、第2量まで弁体をストローク移動させる第2ピーク電流に向けて増加する電流を燃料噴射弁に供給する制御部202を備える。【選択図】図11
