To provide a lens unit and a camera module that can melt snow and the like adhering to the surface of an object side without heating a lens.SOLUTION: A lens unit 100 comprises: a lens tube 10 formed in a cylindrical shape; a plurality of lenses 1 to 5 aligned inside the lens tube along an axial direction of the lens tube; a sealing member 30 arranged in a diameter reduction part formed on an end of the lens tube at an object side; a cover glass 50, arranged on the object side of the sealing member 30, in which a heater part 60 is formed on the surface at an image side; and a lid member 40 mounted to the end of the lens tube at the object side while holding an outer periphery of the cover glass.
