Summary: | To provide a repair method for a concrete slab which removes a part thereof and forms a new concrete slab so as to be continuous with the existing part, making it possible to introduce prestress effectively to a new concrete slab.SOLUTION: A repair method for a concrete slab comprises the steps of: removing a damaged part of a concrete slab 11; providing a gap between remaining parts 11a and 11b on both sides on a bridge girder 1 of the part where the concrete slab has been removed so as to install a new concrete slab 21 in a state that allows relative displacement with respect to the bridge girder; introducing prestress into a new concrete slab by tension force of a new tension material 22 placed along an axial direction of the bridge girder; filling the gap between the new concrete slab and the remaining parts 11a and 11b of the concrete slab with concrete 26 or mortar; and hardening the concrete or mortar, followed by releasing the tension of the tension material 22 in which prestress is introduced into a new concrete slab.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
