Summary:To provide a semi-aromatic polyamide fiber having excellent chemical resistance and long-term heat resistance and having satisfactory spinnability.SOLUTION: A semi-aromatic polyamide fiber comprises: a semi-aromatic polyamide resin having a melting point of 290°C or more; a plastic agent having a 5% heat weight loss temperature of 320°C or more; and a copper compound, in which an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit is included as a dicarboxylic acid component composing the semi-aromatic polyamide resin, a 1,9-nonandiamine unit and a 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine unit are included as a diamine component composing the semi-aromatic polyamide resin, and the molar ratio between the 1,9-nonandiamine unit and the 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine unit is 70:30 to 99:1.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐薬品性、かつ長期間の耐熱性に優れ、紡糸性が良好な半芳香族ポリアミド繊維を提供することにある。【解決手段】融点が290℃以上である半芳香族ポリアミド樹脂、5%熱重量減少温度が320℃以上である可塑剤、及び銅化合物を含有し、前記半芳香族ポリアミド樹脂を構成するジカルボン酸成分として芳香族ジカルボン酸単位を含んでおり、前記半芳香族ポリアミド樹脂を構成するジアミン成分として1,9−ノナンジアミン単位と2−メチル−1,8−オクタンジアミン単位を含んでおり、1,9−ノナンジアミン単位と2−メチル−1,8−オクタンジアミン単位のモル比が70:30〜99:1であることを特徴とする、半芳香族ポリアミド繊維。【選択図】なし
