Summary:To provide a digital audio signal processing technique which automatically controls how ambient sound is reproduced by an against-the-ear audio device, such as headphones or mobile phones, according to a user's context of the device.SOLUTION: An audio system has an ambient sound enhancement function, in which an against-the-ear audio device having a speaker 2 converts a digitally processed version of an input audio signal into sound.
