Summary:To provide an optical path switch device which detects abnormality in the frequency of an optical signal and switches transmission lines of an optical path network.SOLUTION: An optical path switch device has a first frequency difference detector 13a for detecting the frequency difference, as a first frequency difference, between the frequency of a specific signal included in a first electric signal obtained by converting a first optical signal from an active transmission line 1 by means of a first photoelectric converter 11a and a prescribed specific frequency, a second frequency difference detector 13b for detecting the frequency difference, as a second frequency difference, between the frequency of the specific signal included in a second electric signal obtained by converting a second optical signal from a standby transmission line 2 by means of a second photoelectric converter 11b and the specific frequency, an identification section 14 outputting a switch request signal 4 for requesting to transmit, to the transmission line of subsequent stage, any of optical signal selected from the first and second optical signals on the basis of the first and second frequency differences, and an optical output signal switch section 15 connecting the transmission line from which the optical signal selected according to a changeover request signal 4 is inputted to with the transmission line of the subsequent stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】光信号の周波数の異常を検知して光パス網の伝送路の切替を行う光パス切替装置を提供する。【解決手段】現用伝送路1からの第1の光信号を第1光電変換素子11aにて変換した第1電気信号に含まれている特定信号の周波数と所定の特定周波数との周波数差を第1周波数差として検出する第1周波数差検出部13aと、予備伝送路2からの第2の光信号を第2光電変換素子11bにて変換した第2電気信号に含まれている特定信号の周波数と前記特定周波数との周波数差を第2周波数差として検出する第2周波数差検出部13bと、前記第1周波数差と前記第2周波数差とに基づいて前記第1の光信号と前記第2の光信号とのうちいずれかを選択した光信号を後段の伝送路に送信することを要求する切替要求信号4を出力する識別部14と、切替要求信号4にしたがって選択した前記光信号を入力してくる伝送路を後段の伝送路に接続する光出力信号切替部15と、を有する。【選択図】図1
