To provide a supporting system and supporting method that make it possible to more excellently support exhaustive reviews of searching projects in drawing up the searching project for underwater objects by means of an active sonar system.SOLUTION: A supporting system and supporting method are configured to: set searching project information including specifications of searching devices, specifications of underwater objects, and environment specifications of searching water areas; draw up searching projects on the basis of the information; simulate the drawn-up searching project a plurality of times on the basis of a plurality of behavior patterns of the underwater object included in the specification of the underwater object to generate a plurality of simulation results, and perform a statistical analysis of the simulation result, in which the statistical analysis is configured to: set one likely to affect a final result of searching conditions included in the searching project as a sensitivity analysis parameter; implement sensitivity analysis processing of making the sensitivity analysis parameter change; and generate a searching project evaluation value for evaluating a degree contributing to searching for the underwater object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 アクティブソーナーシステムによる水中物体の捜索計画の立案において、捜索計画の網羅的な検討をより一層良好に支援することが可能な支援システムおよび支援方法を提供する。【解決手段】 支援システムおよび支援方法では、捜索機器の諸元、水中物体の諸元、および捜索水域の環境諸元を含む捜索計画情報を設定し、これに基づいて捜索計画を立案する。水中物体の諸元に含まれる当該水中物体の複数の行動パターンに基づいて、立案された捜索計画を複数回シミュレーションして複数のシミュレーション結果を生成し、これを統計分析する。統計分析では、捜索計画に含まれる捜索条件のうち最終結果に影響を及ぼす可能性があるものを感度分析パラメータとして設定し、これを変化させる感度分析処理を実行し、水中物体の捜索に寄与する程度を評価するための捜索計画評価値を生成する。【選択図】 図２
