To make it possible to increase rotation of a work-piece in a barrel tank, to shorten a polishing time, and to perform polishing with good efficiency.SOLUTION: A mask jig 1, which is so installed on both ends of a work shaft O as to cover non-polished surfaces 2a, 2b of a work-piece 2 having the non-polished surfaces 2a, 2b and to which centrifugal force is applied together with the work-piece 2 in a barrel tank of a centrifugal barrel polishing machine, comprises: a pair of mask parts 11A, 11B which so hold the non-polished surfaces 2a, 2b of the work-piece 2 as to cover the same; and a disc-like rotary auxiliary plate 12 which is located on a side opposite to holding parts 111, 112, which are mounted onto the work-piece 2, in each of the pair of mask parts 11A, 11B, and of which a disc central axis C2 is oriented in the work shaft O direction.
