Summary:To provide a coil component improved in a breakdown voltage.SOLUTION: In a coil component 10, a second magnetic portion 30 disposed in the vicinity of a coil C is designed so that a ratio of Fe is higher than that of metal magnetic powder-containing resin constituting a first magnetic portion 28, so that a flow of a magnetic flux of the coil C is smoothed. Although having a relatively lower breakdown voltage than the first magnetic portion 28, the second magnetic portion 30 is surrounded by the first magnetic portion, so that the same is not exposed on a surface of a magnetic body 26. Therefore, a situation in which the coil C and external terminal electrodes 14A and 14B are short-circuited via the second magnetic portion 30 is effectively suppressed, and short circuit between the coil C and the external terminal electrodes 14A and 14B can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】耐電圧の向上が図られたコイル部品を提供する。【解決手段】 コイル部品10においては、コイルCの近傍に配置された第2磁性部30が、第1磁性部28を構成する金属磁性粉含有樹脂よりもFeの割合が高くなるように設計されているため、コイルCの磁束の流れの円滑化が図られている。第2磁性部30は、第1磁性部28に比べて相対的に耐電圧が低くなっているが、第1磁性部に包囲されているため、磁性体26の表面には露出していない。そのため、コイルCと外部端子電極14A、14Bとが第2磁性部30を介して短絡する事態が効果的に抑制されており、コイルCと外部端子電極14A、14Bとの間の短絡が抑制され得る。【選択図】図3
