To suppress deterioration in external appearance due to a heater wire.SOLUTION: An emblem 15 as a decorative component for vehicles comprises a decoration body 16 and a heater wire 37, and is disposed in front of a millimeter wave radar device in a transmission direction of a millimeter wave. The decoration body 16 decorates a vehicle and has a millimeter wave transmission property. The emblem 15 has a design surface on a front face in the transmission direction. An area from the design surface of the emblem 15 to a part spaced rearward in the transmission direction is constituted of a transparent member with the millimeter wave transmission property. The heater wire 37 is disposed on a rear surface of the transparent member in the transmission direction. The heater wire 37 includes a metal conducting line 38 generating heat by electrification, and a synthetic-resin covering section C1 for covering the conducting line 38 and constituting an outer peripheral part of the heater wire 37. At least outer peripheral part of the covering section C1 is constituted of a transparent covering part 39 formed of a transparent synthetic resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ヒータ線による外観の低下を抑制する。【解決手段】車両用装飾部品としてのエンブレム１５は、装飾本体部１６及びヒータ線３７を備え、ミリ波の送信方向におけるミリ波レーダ装置の前方に配置される。装飾本体部１６は、車両を装飾し、かつミリ波の透過性を有する。エンブレム１５は、上記送信方向における前面に意匠面を有する。エンブレム１５の意匠面から上記送信方向における後方へ離れた箇所までの領域が、ミリ波の透過性を有する透明部材により構成される。ヒータ線３７は、上記送信方向における透明部材の後面に配置される。ヒータ線３７は、通電により発熱する金属製の導線３８と、導線３８を被覆し、かつ同ヒータ線３７の外周部を構成する合成樹脂製の被覆部Ｃ１とを備える。被覆部Ｃ１の少なくとも外周部は、透明な合成樹脂により形成された透明被覆部３９により構成されている。【選択図】図３
