Summary:To provide a resonance-type capacitive proximity sensor achieving a cost reduction.SOLUTION: A capacitive proximity sensor 1 of the present invention includes: oscillating means 33 outputting a high frequency signal; an LCR resonance circuit 10 which includes a sensor electrode 11 and into which the high frequency signal is input; a sensor circuit 20 outputting a determination voltage signal according to the capacitance of the sensor electrode 11; and a control section 32 detecting the proximity of a human body to the sensor electrode based on the determination voltage signal.
