To allow a person working at a position near a post-processing apparatus to easily see information displayed on a display unit.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: a main body 90 that can be connected with a post-processing apparatus 150 that performs post-processing on a recording medium on which an image is formed; an operation panel 10 that is provided on the main body 90 and when a failure occurs in the post-processing apparatus 150, displays repair information on the post-processing apparatus 150; and a control unit that controls the image forming apparatus 100.
