Summary: | To perform suitable gear change control.SOLUTION: This gear change control device of an automatic transmission comprises: an acquisition part for acquiring, for example, a rotation number of an output shaft from an automatic transmission inputted with rotation power from an engine; a calculation part for calculating a first estimation engine rotation number of the engine at a start of a first inertia phase on the basis of the rotation number of the output shaft, an increase rate of the rotation number of the output shaft, a gear ratio of a currently-selected gear stage of the automatic transmission, and a first time after a start of gear change control to a succeeding gear stage from the currently-selected gear stage up to the start of the first inertia phase when a prescribed condition is satisfied; and an output part for outputting a gear change command to the succeeding stage from the currently-selected gear stage on the basis of the first estimation engine rotation number and a preset engine rotation number threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
