To reduce a burden of an operator in work of descending a loading platform.SOLUTION: A loading platform descent assist device 1 assists descent operation of a loading platform 2 in a vehicle M which includes the loading platform 2 and a vehicle body 4 and in which the loading platform 2 moves to the rear relative to the vehicle body 4 according to descent of the loading platform 2.
