Summary:To accurately measure a blood vessel diameter in a subject such as a patient easily and simply by using an image captured by a vascular endoscope, and support selection of a suitable stent inserted into the subject.SOLUTION: A blood vessel diameter measuring system includes: an endoscope inserted into a blood vessel of a subject into which a guide wire with a scale is inserted beforehand, and mounted with an image sensor capable of imaging the blood vessel and the guide wire at the tip side; and a calculation device connected to the endoscope. The calculation device measures a blood vessel diameter of the blood vessel based on at least one pre-movement image captured before the movement of the endoscope, at least one post-movement image captured after the movement of the endoscope, and a distance of the movement of the endoscope, when the endoscope inserted into the blood vessel is moved toward the base end side at a constant speed by an operation of a user browsing a monitor that displays the captured image in which the guide wire imaged by the endoscope is reflected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】血管内視鏡の撮像画像を利用して患者等の被検体内の血管径を高精度で手軽かつ簡易に測定し、被検体内に挿通される適切なステントの選択を支援する。【解決手段】血管径測定システムは、目盛り付きのガイドワイヤが予め挿通された被検体の血管内に挿通され、血管およびガイドワイヤを撮像可能な画像センサが先端側に実装された内視鏡と、内視鏡と接続された演算装置と、を備える。演算装置は、内視鏡により撮像されたガイドワイヤが映る撮像画像が表示されたモニタを閲覧するユーザの操作により、血管内に挿通された内視鏡が基端側に向かって一定速度で移動された際に、内視鏡の移動前に撮像された少なくとも1枚の移動前撮像画像と内視鏡の移動後に撮像された少なくとも1枚の移動後撮像画像と内視鏡の移動距離とに基づいて、血管の血管径を測定する。【選択図】図1
