Summary:To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program which can accurately acquire values selected among selective items with prepared legends by a user in a situation where values written in a document are extracted from a scanned image of the document.SOLUTION: An item name, input information input by a user, and a legend are extracted from a document image in this order. Then, when the input information is unsuitable as a value corresponding to the item name, a value corresponding to the input information is extracted from the legend so as to acquire the extracted value as the value corresponding to the item name.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】文書に記入された値を文書のスキャン画像から抽出する場面において、凡例が用意された選択式の項目に対してユーザが選択した値を正確に取得することができる。【解決手段】文書画像から項目名を抽出し、前記文書画像からユーザにより入力された入力情報を抽出し、さらに前記文書画像から凡例を抽出する。そして、前記入力情報が前記項目名に対応する値として適さない場合に、前記凡例から前記入力情報に対応する値を抽出し、該抽出した値を前記項目名に対応する値として取得する。【選択図】図５
