Summary:To provide an improved supporting structure of a piston and a connection rod capable of smoothly fitting a connection rod to a crank pin while preventing the connection rod from riding on a crank arm in descent assembling, by further improving a trapezoid fitting structure of the piston and the connection rod.SOLUTION: In a supporting structure of a piston and a connection rod in which a small end portion 3 of a connection rod B is disposed between a pair of piston pin bosses 1, 2 of a piston A, and a piston pin 4 is fitted, a clearance w in a direction of a pin shaft center p between the piston pin bosses 1, 2 is determined to be gradually narrowed toward a piston head side, a width in the direction of the pin shaft center p of the small end portion 3 is determined to be gradually widened toward a connection rod large end portion side, and inner end faces 1T, 2T on a small end portion side of the piston pin bosses 1, 2 are provided with projecting portions 8, 9 capable of keeping clearances in the direction of the pin shaft center p between outer end faces 3A, 3B on a piston pin boss side of the small end portion 3 and the inner end faces 1T, 2T at a prescribed value x.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ピストンとコンロッドとが台形嵌合構造を採る場合でのさらなる工夫により、下降組付け時におけるコンロッドのクランクアームへの乗り上げおそれがなく、円滑にクランクピンに嵌合されるように、改善されたピストンとコンロッドの支承構造を提供する。【解決手段】ピストンAの一対のピストンピンボス1,2間にコンロッドBの小端部3が配置され、ピストンピン4が嵌合されピストンとコンロッドの支承構造において、ピストンピンボス1,2どうしのピン軸心pの方向での間隔wがピストンヘッド側ほど狭くなるように設定され、かつ、小端部3のピン軸心pの方向での幅がコンロッド大端部側ほど広くなるように設定され、ピストンピンボス1,2の小端部側となる内端面1T,2Tに、小端部3のピストンピンボス側となる外端面3A,3Bと内端面1T,2Tとのピン軸心pの方向での間隔を所定値xに維持可能な突出部8,9が設けられている。【選択図】図1
