Summary:To provide a brake force control apparatus capable of realizing a comfortable ride in a coasting state of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A brake force control apparatus, for use in controlling a regenerative generator in a vehicle that uses at least a stepped automatic transmission and the regenerative generator to generate negative drive force, where a progress direction of the vehicle is defined as a positive direction, in a coasting state, includes: a prediction part for predicting time from present time to when the stepped automatic transmission starts a shift action next, on the basis of a vehicular speed; an obtainment part for obtaining a state of a battery to be charged by regenerative generation of the regenerative generator; and a control part for stopping regenerative generation of the regenerative generator before the stepped automatic transmission starts shifting in a case where, while the regenerative generator regeneratively generating, it is determined, on the basis of a prediction result by the prediction part and a state of the battery obtained by the obtainment part, that there is a possibility of regenerative generation by the regenerative generator stopping due to the state of the battery while the stepped automatic transmission in a shift action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】車両の惰行状態において好適な乗り心地を実現できる制動力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】制動力制御装置は、惰行状態において、少なくとも有段自動変速機および回生発電機によって、車両の進行方向を正の向きとしたときの負の駆動力を発生させる車両において、回生発電機を制御する。制動力制御装置は、車両の速度に基づいて、現在から、次に有段自動変速機において変速動作が開始するまでの時間を予測する予測部と、回生発電機の回生発電によって充電される電池の状態を取得する取得部と、回生発電機の回生発電中に、予測部による予測結果および取得部が取得する電池の状態に基づいて、電池の状態に起因する回生発電機による回生発電の停止が有段自動変速機の変速動作中に発生する可能性があると判定した場合、有段自動変速機の変速の開始より前に回生発電機による回生発電を停止させる制御部とを備える。【選択図】図2
