Summary:To provide a laser processing machine in which processing condition can be set with less man-hours, and a processing condition setting method.SOLUTION: A theoretical value calculation part 91 calculates a theoretical value of a cutting speed on the basis of a cutting speed theoretical formula for calculating a theoretical value of a cutting speed according to a material quality and a plate thickness tc of a sheet metal W. A parameter adjustment part 92 adjusts parameters which constitute the cutting speed theoretical formula, and corrects the cutting speed theoretical formula. A processing condition setting part 93 sets a cutting speed of processing condition on the basis of the cutting speed theoretical formula corrected by the parameter adjustment part 92. The cutting speed theoretical formula includes an average absorption rate Aave (absorption rate of laser beam to the sheet metal W) as a parameter which can be adjusted by the parameter adjustment part 92.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】少ない工数で加工条件の設定を行うことができるレーザ加工機及び加工条件設定方法を提供する。【解決手段】理論値演算部91は、板金Wの材質及び板厚tcに応じた切断速度の理論値を演算するための切断速度理論式に基づいて、切断速度の理論値を演算する。パラメータ調整部92は、切断速度理論式を構成するパラメータを調整し、切断速度理論式を補正する。加工条件設定部93は、パラメータ調整部92により補正された切断速度理論式に基づいて、加工条件の切断速度を設定する。そして、切断速度理論式は、パラメータ調整部92により調整可能なパラメータとして、平均吸収率Aave(板金Wへのレーザ光の吸収率)を含んでいる。【選択図】図2
