Summary:To automatically perform switching between a control system and a standby system through appropriate control when elevator group management is carried out.SOLUTION: An elevator group management system comprises: a sensing information acquisition unit 113 that senses a landing of each floor of a plurality of elevators and acquires passenger information of the landing; a call button information acquisition unit 114 that acquires information of a call button of the landing of each floor of the elevators; and a control unit 111 that permits issuance of a switching command between a control system unit and a standby system unit on the basis of the information of the acquisition unit.
