Abstract | To prevent swelling of the column of cells.SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 includes a holding member 26 placed between adjoining cells and having a spring holding part, and a pair of tension plates 32 crossed over a pair of facing end faces 28c, 28d, 30c, 30d of a first end plate 28 and a second end plate 30 while being pulled. The holding member 26 has parts 26g protruding from the cell. Each protruding part 26g has a groove 26g1 to be fitted with the edges 32a on both sides of the pair of tension plates 32. The edges 32a of the pair of tension plates 32 are fitted in the groove 26g1 of the holding member 26, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
