Summary:To provide a motor in which no particles generated when a positioning portion and an internal wall of a connector cover rub against each other enter inside the motor when the positioning portion of a cover member is fitted inside the internal wall of the connector cover.SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a motor body 50 including a rotor 30 and a stator 40 centering on a central axis J extending in an up-and-down direction; a housing 20 that houses the motor body 50; a controller 80 positioned above the motor body 50 and controlling a rotation of the rotor 30; and a cover 60 surrounding the controller 80 from an outer side in a radial direction. The housing 20 includes an annular cover joint 100 surrounding the controller 80 viewed in an axial direction. The cover 60 includes a cylindrical portion 62 surrounding the cover joint 100 from the radial direction.
