Summary:To provide a faucet metal fitting in which a stain proof function is applied without causing local corrosion.SOLUTION: A faucet fitting 100 includes: a metal base material 71; and a plating layer 70 partially formed on a surface of the metal base material, wherein the metal base material includes one kind of metal element composed of copper, zinc and tin, the plating layer includes one or more kinds of metal element selected from chromium and nickel, an organic layer 10 is further provided on the plating layer through a passive layer 70a, the organic layer is bonded with the passive layer by that the metal element M for constituting the passive layer is bonded (M-O-P) with a phosphonic acid group, a phosphate group and a phosphorus atom P of a group X of one or more kinds selected from the phosphonic acid group, the phosphate group and phosphonic acid group, through an oxygen atom O, the group X is bonded with a group R (R is a group having an atom other than carbon element in a carbon hydrate group, of one or two places in the carbon hydrate group), and a phosphorus atom density of a surface of a part where a plating layer is not formed on a metal base material is lower than the phosphorus atom density of a surface of an organic layer provided on the plating layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】局部腐食を起こさずに、防汚機能を付与した水栓金具の提供。【解決手段】金属基材71と、金属基材の表面に部分的に形成されためっき層70からなる水栓金具100であり、金属基材は、銅、亜鉛、及び錫からなる1種の金属元素を含み、めっき層は、クロム及びニッケルから選ばれる1種以上の金属元素を含み、めっき層の上には、不動態層70aを介して有機層10がさらに設けられ、有機層は、不動態層を構成する金属元素Mと、ホスホン酸基、リン酸基、及びホスフィン酸基から選ばれる1種以上の基Xのリン原子Pとが酸素原子Oを介して結合(M−O−P)することによって、不動態層と結合し、基Xは基R(Rは炭化水素基または炭化水素基内の1ないし2個所に炭素以外の原子を有する基)と結合しており、金属基材にめっき層が形成されていない部分の表面のリン原子濃度が、めっき層の上に設けられた有機層の表面のリン原子濃度よりも低い、水栓金具。【選択図】図2
