To provide a fuel cell system capable of accurately determining gas leakage without stopping operation.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell device X having a weight type flow rate measurement part Fa for measuring the flow rate of fuel supplied to a solid oxide type fuel cell 1, and an operation control section C for controlling operation of the solid oxide type fuel cell 1, and a fuel level indicator Y having a volume type flow rate measurement part Fb for measuring the total flow rate of fuel supplied to the solid oxide type fuel cell 1, and other fuel consumption apparatuses 11, K via fuel supply passages L1, L6.
