Summary:To prevent erroneous determination of disconnection and avoid complication of a configuration.SOLUTION: A circuit apparatus includes a packet output circuit that transmits a packet to a bus BS2 with changeable amplitude level, a detection circuit that detects whether the amplitude level of the packet transmitted to the bus BS2 exceeds a disconnection detection level, and a control circuit that instructs reduction of a part or all of the amplitude level of the packet to the packet output circuit when detecting that the amplitude level of the packet exceeds the disconnection detection level by the detection circuit, and determines that an apparatus connected to the bus BS2 is disconnected when detecting that the amplitude level of the packet exceeds the disconnection detection level again by the detection circuit after the instruction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】切断の誤判定を防止しつつ、構成の複雑化を回避する。【解決手段】回路装置は、バスＢＳ２にパケットを、振幅レベルを変更可能に送信するパケット出力回路と、バスＢＳ２に送信されたパケットの振幅レベルが切断検出レベルを超えたか否かを検出する検出回路と、検出回路によって、パケットの振幅レベルが切断検出レベルを超えたと検出された場合に、パケット出力回路に対しパケットの一部または全部の振幅レベルの低下を指示し、当該指示の後、検出回路によって、パケットの振幅レベルが切断検出レベルを超えたと再度検出された場合に、バスＢＳ２に接続されていた装置が切断されたと判定する制御回路とを含む。【選択図】図３
