To provide an on-road laid object that is excellent in durability and can be used advantageously for sensing using a magnetic sensor.SOLUTION: An on-road laid object laid on a road, comprises: a magnetic marker containing a magnetic material; and a cover layer covering at least a part of the magnetic marker. Here, it is preferable that the on-road laid object is provided with a plurality of magnetic markers, and one cover layer covers the plurality of magnetic markers.
