Summary: | To provide a finely fibrous cellulose capable of exhibiting excellent coating suitability when added into a coating material.SOLUTION: There is provided a fibrous cellulose having a fiber width of 1000 nm or less and has a phosphorous acid group or a substituent derived from a phosphorous acid group, wherein a dispersion liquid having a viscosity at 23°C of 2500 mPa s is prepared by dispersing fibrous cellulose in water and when the dispersion liquid is stirred under a predetermined stirring condition, the viscosity change rate calculated by the following expression is within ±50%. 【課題】本発明は、塗料に添加した際に、優れた塗工適性を発揮し得る微細繊維状セルロースを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明は、繊維幅が1000nm以下であり、亜リン酸基又は亜リン酸基に由来する置換基を有する繊維状セルロースであって、繊維状セルロースを水に分散させて、23℃における粘度が2500mPa・sの分散液とし、分散液を所定の撹拌条件で撹拌した場合、以下の式で算出される粘度変化率が±50%以内となる繊維状セルロースに関する。粘度変化率(%)=(撹拌後の粘度−撹拌前の粘度)/撹拌前の粘度×100【選択図】なし |
