To provide a connection control device capable of establishing a connection from a new terminal in addition to connected terminals more easily, compared to the case where a new terminal is connected using different connection information, even if the maximum number of terminals connectable to the wireless LAN is limited.SOLUTION: A connection control device comprises: a transmission unit for transmitting an SSID and a password for a wireless LAN connection to a request terminal 30N in response to an information transmission request; a connection unit capable of establishing wireless LAN connections with the predefined maximum number of terminals; and a control unit. When the number of connected terminals 30P by using the wireless LAN connections reaches to the maximum limit, the control unit makes a connected terminal 30P available as a tethering terminal 30T that provides a tethering connection using the same SSID and the same password as those for establishing the wireless LAN connection and ends the wireless LAN connection performed by the connection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 【課題】異なる接続情報を用いて新たな端末と接続を行う場合と比べて、無線ＬＡＮ接続ができる端末数に上限がある場合であっても、接続済みの端末に加えて新たな端末による接続を確立しやすくする接続管理装置を提供する。【解決手段】接続管理装置は、情報送信要求に応答して、無線ＬＡＮ接続のためのＳＳＩＤ及びパスワードを要求端末３０Ｎに送信する送信部と、予め定められた上限数の端末と無線ＬＡＮ接続を確立可能な接続部と、制御部と、を備えている。制御部は、前記無線ＬＡＮ接続により接続端末３０Ｐの数が上限数に達している場合に、接続端末３０Ｐを、前記無線ＬＡＮ接続を確立するためのＳＳＩＤ及びパスワードと同じＳＳＩＤ及びパスワードによりテザリング接続を提供するテザリング端末３０Ｔとして機能させ、前記接続部による前記無線ＬＡＮ接続を終了させる。【選択図】図１０
