Summary:To enable easy control of movement of a display object on a display screen by a position indicator.SOLUTION: An electronic pen 2 has a pressure sensor 25 for detecting the amount of movement of a user's finger, a motion sensor 26 for detecting a tilt of the electronic pen 2, and a communication unit 27 for transmitting data indicating the amount of movement detected by the pressure sensor 25 and the tilt detected by the motion sensor 26.
