Summary: | To provide a conical roller bearing which can lower torque while suppressing the lowering of the rigidity of a cage.SOLUTION: A conical roller bearing comprises a cage 5 for accommodating conical rollers 4. The cage is formed of a metal material, and composed of a small-diameter side annular part 6 continuing at small end face sides of the conical rollers 4, a large-diameter side annular part 7 continuing at large end face sides of the conical rollers, and a plurality of column parts 8 for connecting the annular parts. The column part facing a pocket has a face-pressing processing face 11 at an inner side of its side face 9c in a radial direction, and the face-pressing processing face is formed of a straight part 11a located in a center of the pocket in an axial direction, pocket corner R-parts 10b located at both ends of the pocket in the axial direction, and an escape part 11b formed between the straight part 11a and the pocket corner R-part 10b. The escape part 11b gradually becomes larger in an escape amount Δ toward the pocket corner R-part 10b from an end of the straight part 11a in the axial direction, and is smoothly connected to the straight part 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】保持器強度の低下を抑えつつ、低トルク化が得られる円すいころ軸受を提供する。【解決手段】円すいころ4を収容する保持器5とからなる円すいころ軸受であって、保持器が、金属材料で形成され、円すいころ4の小端面側で連なる小径側環状部6と、円すいころの大端面側で連なる大径側環状部7と、これらの環状部を連結する複数の柱部8とからなり、ポケットに面する柱部は、その側面9cの径方向内側に面押し加工面11を有し、面押し加工面は、ポケットの軸方向中央に位置するストレート部11aと、ポケットの軸方向両端に位置するポケット隅アール部10bと、ストレート部11aとポケット隅アール部10bとの間に形成された逃げ部11bとからなり、逃げ部11bは、ストレート部11aの軸方向端からポケット隅アール部10bに向けて徐々に逃げ量Δが大きくなると共に、ストレート部11aに滑らかに接続されている。【選択図】図2 |
