To provide a remote control device which facilitates changes in positions of a display part and allows an operator to take a flexible posture while looking at the display part.SOLUTION: This remote control device 100 which is configured to display an image photographed by an endoscope 201b so that an operator O looks into to look at the displayed image includes a scope type display part 3a having a grip part 32 gripped by the operator O with his/her left hand on the left side and a grip part 32 gripped by the operator O with his/her right hand on the right side.
