To provide a luminaire that can increase an amount of light emitted from the luminaire while restraining an increase in a maximum luminance.SOLUTION: A luminaire according to one embodiment comprises a light source, an appliance body housing the light source, a cylindrical frame body fixed to the appliance body, and a translucent panel fixed to the frame body, and covering an opening of the frame body. The translucent panel includes a panel body for transmitting light of the light source, and a wall part erected on a peripheral edge of the panel body, extending into the cylinder of the frame body, and fixed to the frame body.
