Summary:To provide a mobile terminal device capable of suppressing a deviation between a movement direction of a finger on a touch sensor provided on the back surface of a housing and an operation direction intended by a user.SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device includes a housing having a display unit, a sensor provided on the back surface of the housing opposite to the surface on which the display unit is provided to detect a finger-based operation, and a control unit that causes a display of the display unit to scroll in a direction of a slide operation from a position where the sensor is touched.
