Summary:To provide an integrity test method for filters that allows the use of relatively slow permeate gas pairs, but does not require excessive test times and minimizes or eliminates the risk of drying out the filters during the test.SOLUTION: A method of integrity-testing a porous material comprises: providing a porous material to be tested, the porous material having a first surface and a second surface; wetting the porous material with a wetting liquid; providing a gas stream comprising at least first and second gases humidified with the wetting liquid to the saturation vapor pressure of the wetting liquid or the vicinity thereof; applying a vacuum to the permeate stream exiting the second surface of the porous material; introducing the gas stream to the first surface of the porous material; causing the first and second gases to flow through the porous material; measuring the concentration of at least one of the first and second gases in the permeate stream exiting the second surface of the porous material; and comparing the measured concentration to a predetermined concentration; where a difference between the measured concentration and the predetermined concentration is indicative of the porous material being non-integral.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】比較的遅い透過ガス対の使用を可能にするが、過度の試験時間を必要とせず、試験中にフィルタが乾燥する危険性を最小限に抑える又は排除するフィルタの完全性試験方法の提供。
