Summary:To further accurately calculate a prescribed value of a parameter which increases according to an operation duration of an internal combustion engine, related to a condition of execution of diagnosis for a fuel pressure sensor.SOLUTION: A device for diagnosing fuel pressure sensor abnormality is employed in a vehicle which comprises: a high-pressure fuel pump driven by the rotation of a crankshaft; a high-pressure fuel passage in which fuel delivered by the high-pressure fuel pump flows; a fuel pressure sensor detecting fuel pressure PH in the high-pressure fuel passage; and a crank angle sensor detecting a rotation position of a crankshaft. The device for diagnosing fuel pressure sensor abnormality performs: diagnosing the presence or absence of an abnormality of the fuel pressure sensor on the execution condition that a total intake amount KGA of an internal combustion engine exceeds a total intake amount prescribed value Z1, the execution condition being one of the execution conditions ((steps S310, S320); and determining a total intake amount prescribed value Z1 according to the fuel pressure PH which is detected by the fuel pressure sensor at timing at which the rotation position of the crankshaft is no longer changed (steps S200, S220).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】燃圧センサの診断実行条件に係る、内燃機関の運転継続時間に応じて増加するパラメータの規定値を、より正確に算出する。【解決手段】クランクシャフトの回転によって駆動される高圧燃料ポンプと、高圧燃料ポンプが吐出した燃料が流通する高圧燃料通路と、高圧燃料通路内の燃料圧力PHを検出する燃圧センサと、クランクシャフトの回転位置を検出するクランク角センサとを備えた車両に適用され、内燃機関の総吸気量KGAが総吸気量規定値Z1を越えていることを実行条件の一つとして、燃圧センサの異常の有無を診断する(ステップS310,S320)。総吸気量規定値Z1は、クランクシャフトの回転位置が変化しなくなったタイミングで燃圧センサが検出した燃料圧力PHに応じて決定される(ステップS200,S220)。【選択図】図3
