Summary: | To provide a rubber coating device and rubber coating method in which a thermal shrinkage of a cord due to heat and a significant decrease in rubber adhesive strength due to precipitation of sulfur in a rubber due to cooling are unlikely to occur, even if the rubber coating device is stopped for a long time for changing a type of the cord or the rubber.SOLUTION: A rubber coating device that coats multiple cords that have been aligned with unvulcanized rubber includes: drying means for drying the cord with multiple heating rolls; rubber coating means for crimping the unvulcanized rubber to the cord and coating the unvulcanized rubber; cooling means for cooling the rubber-coated cord formed by the rubber coating process with multiple cooling rolls; first separating means for separating each heating roll and the cord; and/or second separating means for separating each cooling roll and the rubber-coated cord.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
