Summary:To prevent the occurrences of inferior quality and accidents by monitoring during coating with wide management reference for installation of a target object for coating.SOLUTION: An electrostatic coating device includes a supporting part 1 for supporting a target object to be coated, a coating part 2 having a potential higher than that of a target object 11 and jetting electrified coating particles toward the target object 11, a grounding terminal 3 which is positioned in the vicinity of the target object 11 and is grounded, a partial discharge detection unit 6 for detecting partial discharge occurring between the target object 11 and the grounding terminal 3, a first electric current measuring unit 4 for measuring an electric current flowing to the ground from the target object 11, and a determination unit 7 for determining whether or not the target object 11 is in a state capable of electrostatic coating based on a detection result at the partial discharge detection unit 6 and a measuring result at the first electric current measuring unit 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】被塗物設置の管理基準が広く、塗装中の監視により品質不良の発生と事故の発生を防止する。【解決手段】被塗物を支持する支持部1と、被塗物11に比べて高電位を有し、被塗物11に対して帯電した塗布微粒子を噴出させる塗布部2と、被塗物11の近傍に位置し、接地された接地端子3と、被塗物11と接地端子3との間で発生する部分放電を検出する部分放電検出部6と、被塗物11から接地に流れる電流を測定する第1電流測定部4と、部分放電検出部6での検出結果及び第1電流測定部4での測定結果に基づいて、被塗物11が静電塗布可能な状態であるか否かを判定する判定部7とを備える。【選択図】図1
