Summary:To enable charging of a rechargeable battery mounted in an electronic pen by providing a charging terminal without preventing esthetic appearance of the electronic pen to receive power supply from an information processing device.SOLUTION: An electronic component 13 for transmitting a position instruction signal and a rechargeable battery 14 for supplying a driving power supply to the electronic component 13 are mounted inside a pen-shaped cylindrical housing 11. Charging terminals 12a, 12b provided on a face 12bk facing a body of a clip part 12 extending to a pen tip along the housing from a rear end part opposite from the pen tip of the housing 11 are connected to the rechargeable battery 14. The rechargeable battery 14 is charged by receiving the supply of charging power from an information processing device having connection terminals at positions corresponding to the charging terminals 12a, 12b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 電子ペンの美的外観を阻害することなく充電端子を設け、電子ペンに搭載された充電式電池の充電を情報処理装置から電力の供給を受けて行えるようにする。【解決手段】ペン形状の筒状の筐体11の内部には、位置指示信号を送出するための電子部品部13と、電子部品部13に駆動電源を供給する充電式電池14とが搭載されている。充電式電池14には、筐体11のペン先とは反対側の後端部分から筐体に沿ってペン先側に延伸されたクリップ部12の筐体に対向する面12bkに設けられている充電端子12a、12bが接続される。充電端子12a、12bに対応する位置に接続端子を有する情報処理装置から充電用の電力の供給を受けて充電式電池14を充電する。【選択図】図1
