Summary: | To provide a display device and a drive method for the same with which it is possible to control the emission of light without separately providing an emission control transistor and an emission control drive unit.SOLUTION: A display device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes pixels, each of the pixels including a first, a second and a third transistor the gate electrode of which is connected to a first node, one electrode is connected to a first power supply line and other electrodes are connected to a second node, a storage capacitor one electrode of which is connected to the first node and other electrodes are connected the second node, and a light-emitting diode the anode of which is connected to the second node and cathode is connected to a second power supply line. The second and third transistors are in a turn-on state in a first period of one frame period, the second transistor is in a turn-off state and the third transistor is in a turn-on state in a second period of the frame period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
