Summary: | To improve the heat efficiency and energy-saving property of a heating device and to reduce size, weight, and cost.SOLUTION: The heating device includes an endless rotation member (fixing belt 310), a heating source (halogen heater 361) which emits radiation heat, a nip forming member 380 which is heated by the radiation heat, and an opposite member (pressure roller 320) which holds the rotation member 310 between the opposite member and the nip forming member 380, to form a nip part SN through which a sheet being heated passes. A reflection surface 362 which reflects the radiation heat except the radiation heat directly directed to the nip forming member from the heating source toward the nip forming member is disposed on the surface of the heating source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
