The cable 2 is inserted into piping 100. The self-traveling carriage 3 includes a plurality of wheels 32 rotatably driven along an inner peripheral surface 100f of the piping 100 in the piping 100. The magnets 33 are provided on the bottom surface side of the self-traveling carriage 3. The magnets 33 are arranged to face the inner peripheral surface 100f of the piping 100 at intervals.
