Summary: | To suppress the increase of power consumption by shortening the time from a start-up time to the completion of initialization processing, in a drive device including a movable part and a fixed part.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 101 includes: a movable part 102 including an imaging optical system and an imaging part; and a fixed part 103. An angular velocity meter 106 for detecting the angular velocity of a vibration is provided in the fixed part 103. A tilt rotation unit 104 rotates the movable part 102 in a tilting direction and a pan rotation unit 105 rotates the movable part 102 in a panning direction. When performing the initialization processing of the movable part 102 at the time of start, a control part 213 determines a drive direction of the initialization of the pan rotation unit 105 on the basis of the vibration detected by the angular velocity meter 106, when performing the drive control of the tilt rotation unit 104. 【課題】可動部と固定部を備える駆動装置において、起動時点から初期化処理が終了するまでの時間を短縮し、消費電力の増加を抑制する。【解決手段】撮像装置101は、撮像光学系および撮像部を備える可動部102と、固定部103を備える。固定部103には振動の角速度を検出する角速度計106が設けられている。チルト回転ユニット104は可動部102をチルティング方向に回転させ、パン回転ユニット105は可動部102をパンニング方向に回転させる。制御部213は起動時に可動部102の初期化処理を行う際、チルト回転ユニット104の駆動制御時に角速度計106が検出した振動に基づいてパン回転ユニット105の初期化の駆動方向を決定する。決定された駆動方向に基づいて原点位置(リセット位置)の検出処理が行われる。【選択図】 図2 |
