Summary:To provide an in-core that is compatible at a high level of easy insertion into a pipe member and prevention of the pipe member from being scraped at the time of the insertion.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 includes: a first flow path member 2 having an outer cylinder part 6; a second flow path member 3 having an inner cylinder part 12 inserted into the outer cylinder part 6 and snap-engaged thereto; and an in-core 4 arranged to be inserted into the inner cylinder part 12 so as to strengthen the snap-engage. A plurality of recesses extending in the circumferential direction are formed at an end part of an inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder part 12 located at the insertion side of the in-core 4, and a temporary holding part 23 is provided between the plurality of recesses. The temporary holding part 23 holds the in-core 4 when the in-core 4 is temporarily inserted into the inner cylinder part 12. In the in-core 4, a tapered surface 43b is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a second end part 43, which becomes smaller in diameter as it approaches an end surface 43a.
