To provide a dust cap for an eye joint capable of being used in eye joint brackets of various specifications whose opening parts have different inner diameters, excellent in versatility, and advantageous in cost reduction.SOLUTION: A dust cap 10A for an eye joint comprises a pair of lid parts 12, 14 that cover an end surface part 5202 on both sides of an eye joint body 52 in which an opening part 5602 of an eyebolt insertion hole 56 is provided. One of the pair of lid parts 12, 14 has a cover plate part 1202 that covers the end surface part 5202, and a cylindrical part 1204 whose outer diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the opening part 5602 and that protrudes from the cover plate 1202. The other of the pair of lid parts 12, 14 has the cover plate part 1202 that covers the end surface part 5202, and a shaft part 1404 that protrudes from the cover plate part 1202 and is removably inserted inside the cylindrical part 1204, and in which the inserted state is retained by friction with the cylindrical part 1204.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】開口部の内径が異なる種々の仕様のアイジョイント金具に使用することができ、汎用性に優れ、コストダウンを図る上で有利なアイジョイント用ダストキャップを提供すること。【解決手段】アイジョイント用ダストキャップ１０Ａは、アイボルト挿通孔５６の開口部５６０２が設けられたアイジョイント本体５２の両側の端面部５２０２を覆う一対の蓋部１２、１４を備える。一対の蓋部１２、１４の一方は、端面部５２０２を覆う蓋板部１２０２と、開口部５６０２の内径よりも小さい寸法の外径で蓋板部１２０２から突設された筒部１２０４とを有している。一対の蓋部１２、１４の他方は、端面部５２０２を覆う蓋板部１２０２と、蓋板部１２０２から突設され筒部１２０４の内側に係脱可能に挿入され、この挿入された状態が筒部１２０４との摩擦で保持される軸部１４０４とを有している。【選択図】図３
