Summary:To provide a 3D printer with high reliability and capable of executing a good molding operation.SOLUTION: A 3D printer is assembled with a hot end for heating, melting and ejecting a filament-like molding material, supply means for supplying the filament-like molding material to a hot end, and control means for controlling heating of the filament-like molding material and is characterized by that the hot end is assembled with a supply part including a supply port to be supplied with the molding material, a discharge part including a discharge port for ejecting the molding material, a passage communicating the supply port and the discharge port, and a melting part for melting the supplied filament-like molding material, and the control means is capable of executing controlling of stoppage of electric power supply to the heating means when a temperature of the melting part exceeds an upper limit of a predetermined temperature range and resumption of electric power supply to the heating means when the temperature is under a lower limit, executing controlling of supply of electric power to the heating means in approximately synchronization with the start of supplying of the filament-like molding material of the supply means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】良好な造形動作を実行し得る信頼性の高い3次元プリンタの提供。【解決手段】フィラメント状の造形材料を加熱して融解し吐出するホットエンドと、フィラメント状の造形材料をホットエンドに供給するための送り手段と、フィラメント状の造形材料の加熱を制御する制御手段とを備えた3次元プリンタであって、ホットエンドは造形材料が供給される供給口を有する供給部、造形材料を吐出する吐出口を有する吐出部、供給口と吐出口を連通する通路、及び、供給されたフィラメント状の造形材料を融解する融解部を備え、制御手段は、融解部の温度が所定の温度範囲の上限値を上回ると加熱手段への電力の供給を停止し下限値を下回ると前記加熱手段への電力の供給を再開する制御、及び、送り手段がフィラメント状の造形材料の供給を開始するのと略同期して加熱手段に電力を供給する制御を実行可能とすることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
