Summary:To provide a honeycomb body which is used in a catalyst carrier converter and has an improved durability.SOLUTION: There is provided a honeycomb body in which a gas conduction path for axially conducting gas is formed by laminating and winding in the axial direction a flat foil and a corrugated foil 30 having an offset structure that includes a large number of cells and in which cells F adjacent to each other in the axial direction have different phases. In the honeycomb body, a first bonding layer 51 for joining the corrugated foil 30 and the flat foil extends in the axial direction while connecting a top surface 101 of a first cell F1 located at the first position from a gas inlet side end in the axial direction and a top surface 101 of a second cell F2 at the second position. It comprises a second bonding layer located at a gas outlet side with respect to the first bonding layer 51.
