To provide lycopene-containing poultry eggs which realize efficient ingestion of lycopene.SOLUTION: Lycopene-containing poultry eggs contain 80% by mass or more of cis-type lycopene when the total amount of lycopene contained in egg yolk is 100% by mass. In addition, the lycopene-containing poultry eggs are produced by the following cis-type lycopene-enriched feed group in which the lycopene content of egg yolk is more than twice that of the control poultry eggs produced by the following control groups. <Control group> Control poultry eggs were produced by feeding spawning poultry with a feed containing a predetermined amount of lycopene and having a cis-type lycopene content of 5.5% by mass or less when the total content of lycopene was 100% by mass. <Cis-type lycopene-enriched feed group> Lycopene-containing poultry eggs were produced by feeding spawning poultry with a feed containing the same amount of lycopene as the feed used in the control group and having a cis-type lycopene content of 35% by mass or more when the total content of lycopene is 100% by mass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】効率よくリコピンを摂取可能なリコピン含有家禽卵を提供する。【解決手段】リコピン含有家禽卵は、卵黄に含まれるリコピン全体を１００質量％とした場合にシス型リコピンが８０質量％以上である。また、リコピン含有家禽卵は、以下の対照群により生産される対照家禽卵に比して、卵黄のリコピン含有量が２倍以上である、以下のシス型リコピン富化飼料群により生産される。＜対照群＞所定量のリコピンを含有するとともに、含有するリコピン全体を１００質量％とした場合にシス型リコピンが５．５質量％以下である飼料を、産卵家禽に給与して対照家禽卵を生産した。＜シス型リコピン富化飼料群＞対照群で用いた飼料と同量のリコピンを含有するとともに、含有するリコピン全体を１００質量％とした場合にシス型リコピンが３５質量％以上である飼料を、産卵家禽に給与してリコピン含有家禽卵を生産した。【選択図】図４
