To provide ink providing a printed matter which is excellent in wettability to a non-absorptive medium and dryness and has high glossiness, an inkjet recording method using the ink, and a recording medium colored by the ink.SOLUTION: Ink contains at least a water-insoluble coloring agent, a dispersion agent, three or more kinds of organic solvents and water, in which a water-octanol distribution coefficient of the organic solvent 1 that is one of the three or more kinds of organic solvents is -1.50 to 1.00, a water-octanol distribution coefficient of the organic solvent 2 that is one of the three or more kinds of organic solvents is 1.10 to 3.50, and two or more kinds of organic solvents selected form the above organic solvent 1 and one or more kinds of organic solvents selected from the above organic solvent 2 are contained.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】非吸収性メディアに対する濡れ性、乾燥性に優れ、かつ高光沢な印刷物を提供するインク、該インクを用いるインクジェット記録方法、及び該インクにより着色された記録メディアの提供。【解決手段】少なくとも、水不溶性の着色剤、分散剤、３種類以上の有機溶剤、及び水を含有するインクであって、３種類以上の有機溶剤のうちの１つである、有機溶剤１の水−オクタノール分配係数が−１．５０〜１．００であり、３種類以上の有機溶剤のうちの１つである、有機溶剤２の水−オクタノール分配係数が１．１０〜３．５０であり、上記の有機溶剤１から選択される２種類以上の有機溶剤と、上記の有機溶剤２から選択される１種類以上の有機溶剤と、を含有するインクにより、前記の課題を解決できた。【選択図】なし
